I bought it not thinking where I would put it. Then I saw a similar item with the product title marketing it to be used under the water bottle cage. Worked like a charm! The screws it came with had to be used because the original water bottle cage screws were too short. I did not use the washers from the water bottle cage screws to give it an extra tightness to the bike. It was very easy to install as it comes with a fitted allen rench. Definitely a great value for the small amount of money paid compared to other products. Sure it’s not “hidden” if a thief knows where they are looking but it’s one of the best locations to discreetly install of the limited options available.
