The original band was routinely giving me a really bad rash - almost an allergic reaction. This is great! It's only accidently gotten caught on something once and pulled apart, but that was probably my fault. The magnetic closure is just the right tightness, but easily relaxed if it's feeling less comfortable. Not sweaty feeling and doesn't seem to stay wet like the original band.
