GETTING STARTED FIRST TIME USE - Remove the battery insulator to activate. - Remove the protective film from the screen. - The screen may have faint background digits at the start, this is normal and they will disappear aftera few uses. 8 STEPS FALSE START MONITOR To prevent accidental movements being counted as steps, the pedometer will start counting after 8 consecutive steps have been taken, Starting the count at 9 onwards. This means that the screen will not show an increase in your step count untill your 9th step, after which it will automatically increase by 9 steps, then increase with each step taken. We recommend walking at least 15-20 steps before checking your pedometer. RESETTING THE PEDOMETER Remove the clip if attached to access the RESET button. Press & hold the RESET button for 4-5 seconds.The screen will flash 3 times and then automatically reset to "0".
